30 floors
~360 ft
372 units
Weird ass looking building, but I appreciate that itâs actually quite skinny (âŚfrom 2 angles) and in that 300-399 ft range!
Just beat me! Looks straight out of Midtown Atlanta. Great for that area of Downtown and weird shaped lot.
Werenât we just saying how we want less bland looking buildings downtown? LOL
Eh, I wouldnât say this isnât bland haha, more of a hodgepodge of random shit thrown together and piled high. But Iâll take this over yet another blue glass box, thatâs for sure.
You see, the chaotic architecture is their nod to the spirit of the Legends dancefloor.
Seriously, this is cool, love how skinny it is, big fan.
Will this officially be the first building downtown (not including North Hills) thatâs between the 300-399ft range??
Three different amenity levels (22, 29, and 30). Wonder if there might be a rooftop pool at the 29th floor.
Also, tough for the west facing Dawson units⌠8 story parking deck right outside their windows. But they kinda had to know something would get built there eventually.
The building is very cool and think it will give a nice impact to city skylines
Wasnât the intent for Legends to be able to have a space in the new developmentâŚ? Do we envision that means theyâd take a good portion / all of the space under the deck ?
Woah nice! Hope this is a working project and not a wait on better economy type development.
It does appear to be. Only two towers in Raleigh/Durham area that are in that range. One in North Hills and the other in Durham (University Tower).
I believe the intent was for the new developer to find them a new space, but not necessarily within the new development itself. Gotta wonder if they ever even bothered to stick to their word with that (unless it was in writing, I have to assume those were empty words and they havenât done a single thing to help Legends find a new space - would love to be proven wrong!)
I love it! I do sincerely hope that Legends finds a new, big enough space, walkable of downtown, if itâs not in this development.
Wow! Warehouse district is going to be booming!
Team Dawson always knew there was a risk. Such is life when you choose to live DT.
Cool! I think it is pretty good looking, and like others, I really dig the skinny profile when looking from the north or south.
To me, this is the kind of building that you see in a real big city bc they had to design for the unusually shaped parcel.
Between this and 401 W Cabarrus, that will be 670 new apartments for DTR !
Iâm stoked itâs not a blue glass cube. This is pretty sharp looking and I think itâll make a nice impact on the skyline.
For the first few minutes of looking at this rendering I was not impressed because of how slender it is, but now I somewhat like how it will stand out design wise.
It would be cool if they reserved a space for them on one of the amenity floors.
