If it’s anything like the one in North Hills, drinks are $14-$16 for a house cocktail
Geneva is pretty meh but visiting a friend plus skiing nearby in France.
Anyways, this hotel looks pretty cheap for the price. I’ve seen nicer ibis hotels in Europe for a 3rd of the price.
I’ll buy a few rounds!
Snapped these last night walking down Glenwood after leaving C. Grace. Excuse the # of pics, I got a little trigger happy lol.
Trust me we LOVE pics. I honestly would rather just see pics of developments etc. Then a lot of conversations. Pics are more exciting
I agree 100%! More pics, less talking.
It’s awesome to see most of the new buildings are incorporating different types of outside lighting into the designs
Hope this trend continues around downtown Raleigh with all the new construction. Would be cool to also see even more of the older buildings add the lights too.
Imagine if we got a majority of the city buildings to participate in something like that. Would really create a unique experience for our downtown.
Nice, not been by this building for a few years. Like the way trees have grown to hide the connection behind the courtyard. I have often thought this is one of the most interesting building in Raleigh.
EDIT - interesting modern buildings
AC opened Friday! Anyone check out the bar?
Dang I gotta grab a drink there this week!
Their Instagram says the bar is only open to hotel guests for now.
Not surprised at all.
TBJ posted an article yesterday as well, let’s hope the next step is repaving the street. It’s really bad directly in front of the hotel.

“The property will employ about 60 to 70 people but currently is dealing with issues stemming from the labor shortage”
-Maybe one day we will find someone smart enough to solve this riddle.
There isn’t a labor shortage, there’s a wage shortage.
“nO oNe WaNtS tO wOrK aNyMoRe” - for $10 an hour? NO SHIT!
If only it were that simple. I’m afraid many problems in society are stubbornly believed to be solvable by throwing money at.
Would you go deal with Joe Shmo from out of town who wants to check in 3 hours early but cannot because his room is still being cleaned so he demands to speak with the manager who will tell him the same thing - all for for essentially a poverty level rate of pay…?
If I needed the extra income while in college and this particular job fit perfectly time-wise in my schedule so I could handle both in a given week… absolutely.
