Bloc 83 - One Glenwood, Two Hillsborough, and Phase 3

we need more residential units and the prices of zoom/teams will grow but not to the point where it will make people come back to their offices. Rents are wayyy more expensive than videoconferencing

Amazing! My wife and I would hit Incendiary often when she still lived in Winston. Super cool spot. Now if only we could get Wise Man out this way…

They could go in the event space in City Market!

I don’t see office coming back anytime soon. If anything, we’ll see a lot of office downsizing and a lot of low priced office space available from companies doing so.

Office to resi conversion specialists may see a boom.

83 Block is in their third review! This will be a eighteen story tower!

I thought Bloc83’s next phase was cancelled? Or is this the building behind it, across from Wye Hill?

I think we’ll see office space coming back, although it will be less large all-inclusive spots and a little more segregated into smaller satellite office locations.

The U.S. has now had five consecutive quarters of year-over-year declines in productivity. That has never happened before, in data going back to 1948. I think companies will begin to be less liberal with WFH as we go forward.

I’m not sure. My friend only mentioned that this is their third review.

Interesting. If you talk to them again, see if they know the address. Thanks!

Very interesting! That’s definitely Bloc 83 phase 3 and the extension of the parking deck to replace the temporary surface parking lot.
