Wait until the hotel patrons start complaining
Maybe that is there hook. Get enough people complaining about noise and loitering that someone will approach them with an insane offer to buy the property.
The Lamborghini douchebag does not own the property….he just runs cheesy bars
My sister is moving to Raleigh and an apartment right off Glenwood South in mid August and she is really excited about this place for her dog.
As a dog owner, an indoor dog park / bar is about the last place I would want to sit and have a beer. Just think of the smell in there after a few dogs relieve themselves.
I’m assuming/hoping they have some ways to mitigate this. Like, when they proposed this idea to their friends, I’m sure someone was like…isn’t it going to smell like dog poop in there?
I guess we’ll see. I also want to know if I need to bring my dog to get in. He doesn’t usually come downtown with me, but I’d love to cap off a day of bar hopping with hanging out with some dogs.
The Avenue is having a soft opening August 6th, starting at 5pm.

Petition to rename this area the Bladerunner District
Haha. I love the lights. I hope more buildings continue to add them or include them in their builds around town. Imagine if we had like 30-40 buildings participating, would create a really cool experience around the entire city!
Pretty decent selection of local beer. May have to try it out next week.
The cheesy water fountains out front just cap off that full guido effect the Lamborghini driving douchebag is trying to achieve….
The astroturf is just icing on the cake
The Yacht Club has really stepped their game up. The slide was fun, just spills your beer everywhere.
So, is that the finished product?
It’s looks like a thrift shop but I guess they did the best the could with what they could afford to do.
maybe it just needs to weather?
