It’s so exciting what the Creamery means for Glenwood and downtown Raleigh. For rea estate developers, it serves as a recent proof of concept/comps for future projects. For residents, it delivers really upscale, walkable living with great amenities. With the economic ripple effect, new retailers should emerge and more companies will be interested in the urban core due to additional housing supply to complement the Class A office. You also have the community perspective with more daytime foot traffic and a boosted property tax revenue. Every time I see someone post a progress photo, whether @OakCityDrone amazing aerials or @Deekay93 and many other contributions from the forum members - it reminds me of why I am so bullish on Raleigh as it enters the next chapter!
It wouldn’t hurt or be strange to have both hotel and residential space.
Incredible, wonderful pics & thanks for sharing! The density looks really nice, especially on the last one in the sequence.
Is it me or is this building getting taller by the day?
Just drove down Glenwood and waited at a stop on Peace Street and it already looks massive. Once it’s topped out Glenwood will never look the same.
I hope some day we can get a 39 stories tower
Well, this one will be really close.
Yup I would be nice to see another skyscraper with a better design
My hope for this one is just better quality construction. It’s gotta be higher quality than Skyhouse.
Yep now what be so nice ![]()
Pretty sure this (circled in red) is what we’re getting to start with - the other half is the expanded parking deck pedestal + 20-story office building that will probably end up being delayed:
We me might see the tower crane tie on 13 floor or 14
Bro are you for real how do you get the cam
