Highline Glenwood and 404 Glenwood at The Creamery

Checked it out myself this morning. You can see the parking deck/office building getting going also.

Yeah, it’s raining for the second day in the row. I love seeing it! Yesterday I actually drove my car to wash off all the bird :poop: and dust.

Did you hire :man_artist: Jake to draw that green building rendering on the right?

Yup! His signature box!

BTW, that’s a secret building that nobody is supposed to know about yet. Going to be the skinniest and tallest building in NC.

I know it’s mid-install, but gotta be honest, my first reaction was “that looks cheap.” forgot how badly VE butchered my boi :frowning:

also noticed that the intermediate spandrel panels look like they might have changed to metal? If so, that’s a bummer… the last round of renderings at least had a nice hierarchy of metal panel aligned with the structural grid to frame larger glass openings. The frames fall apart if the spandrel glass is gone

EDIT: ugh looks like even the metal panels that were supposed to project have been glazed in to be flush with the glass. Whoever detailed this (or VE’ed it) really made sure there were no design elements left lol

It looks like they also cheaped out and only bought windows with different sized blue X’s on them. Definitely looked better in the renderings.
