Movie theater count for @John.
I’ve trained you well young Padawan.
How many shadows their buildings cast?
Does the skyline tapper?
I would think the shadows add up to at least eleventy.
Raleigh’s 3rd on this list and doesn’t get an individual highlight write-up.
So U-Haul had us at #1 (if I recall correctly), and Penske has us at #8
Makes sense, I don’t think Penske has as many affiliates here as UHaul. Seems like there’s UHauls everywhere you turn around here
Well, you gotta give it to Penske for making our skyline aggregate/silhouette in the video recognizable as Raleigh.
Not exactly the most reliable website, but I’ll take it!
Here is the link to the rankings. Quality of Life Index by City 2021 Mid-Year
The three lowest ranked American cities???
New York
Philadelphia
Chicago.
How’s does Raleigh’s finances compare to other US cities? Well, pretty dang good.
A sampling from best to worst…
3 Charlotte
11 Raleigh
16 Greensboro
31 Austin
57 Atlanta
68 Nashville
75 NYC
Humm if Raleigh has enough to pay it’s bills why the large unfunded pension and health care amount?
Really interesting. I’ve been reading about Nashville’s new mayor wanting to get their finances in order.
And whoa on Chicago with a taxpayer burden of $37,100 per person, and NYC at $63,100!
Yesterday, storms in Raleigh were featured on Noticias Telemundo today. The Spanish-Language competitor network to Univision (WUVC Locally) you can watch on Antenna WRTD-CD Channel 54.
Yesterday, storms in Raleigh were featured while I was channel surfing on Noticias Telemundo today. The Spanish-Language competitor network to Univision (WUVC Locally) you can watch on Antenna WRTD-CD Channel 54. I tried cropping it
Was also on FOX and NBC with same video.
I believe that was in Charlotte, not Raleigh. They locked down the airport over there due to a tornado warning.
Reports I saw said Raleigh, could be video is from Charlotte, would not be first time (even in same night) that reporters got something wrong.
