On the front page of Planetizen:
The Triangle is the #2 place to live in the country according to US News & World Report. Listed together as “Raleigh & Durham”.

I hear they travel in flying cars in that triangle to get to Raleigh and Durham.
While Raleigh can obv stand on its own, and I was initially perturbed at them grouping Ral/Durm, I do think the combo of Raleigh/Durm/ChapHill is a solid combo. Of course it depends what metrics are being used but generally I think stronger together.
Apes… together, strong.
Since we’re talking news about animals -what is it with wild animals getting out. First the snakes, yesterday some wolf hybrids and now a bear is stuck in a tree…in Raleigh?!
In list of sports teams “minor league baseball team the Carolina Mudcats” was only Baseball team listed, bet that’s going up upset “Durhan Bulls” fans.
Photo #20 says it’s Durham when it’s Raleigh. In fact, it’s dtraleigh @Pillot Mill/Mordecai
Funny captions.
Here’s a bar.
Here’s a wine shop.
Here’s a flag.
See an apartment.

YOOOOOO this whole article has me D Y I N G
poor guy
Guess which NC city (barely) makes the list, and which one doesn’t at all?
Also, yet another photo-fail.
I want that downtown skyline!
But any publicity is good publicity. #62 for gdp per capita globally is an eye opener as is #8 for educated populace. Keep on keeping on.
Just for my own edification, their list of just American cities:
NY
LA
Chicago
San Francisco
DC
Vegas
Miami
San Diego
Boston
Houston
Seattle
Orlando
Atlanta
Dallas
Austin
Phoenix
Denver
Philadelphia
San Jose
Portland
Minneapolis
Baltimore
New Orleans
Nashville
Sacramento
Salt Lake City
Raleigh
So 27th. And it appears to just be the Raleigh-side of the Triangle.
and they didn’t add NC after Raleigh!
WOW Raleigh’s skyline has really gone through a lot of changes over the past few weeks. Guess one from a few weeks ago was where the tall buildings were demolished in prep for the dozens of skyscrapers that where build in past week or so.
Oh guess I missed the diversion of Neuse river into downtown to make a lake.
#4 Moscow… Yeah living in Russia sounds like a blast
I’ll take the buildings on the right, but the ones on the left are trashy looking to me.
With NYC as #2 and Orlando well higher than Raleigh, I’m totally discrediting this list.
The only thing good they did is highlight Brewery Bhavana’s 2017 top 10 ranking.
Makes me wonder what the ranking would be if the Triangle was a unified MSA?
Well, with stupid poopie faces creating the metrics and ratings, probably not a lot better.
