They don’t even have public information on what the hell will ultimately be built here besides the damn bus station + parking deck so… I wouldn’t bet on it. Not anytime soon, at least.

Is that West St extension ever going to happen?
This is on the retaining wall just beyond the underpass so I think it would be unaffected by the extension, depending on the alignment…

I mean… not like they couldn’t blast through paint, anyway. I do hope they build the tunnel sooner than later, really need better connections from the Warehoust Dist. to the “West End” / South St dist.

I keep asking the same question, but this is what gives me confidence that more is imminent at this site. They wouldn’t have installed the base for a second crane if bigger things were not in the immediate plans.

Can we start over? Why are people confused? Is the below NOT what is being built? Are people expecting a pretty rendering of the final product? That second crane seems to be sitting in between the two buildings in the site plan.
There’s ALWAYS a chance that a development gets changed. That’s not unexpected as the site says here: https://rusbusnc.com/
Design of the private development is under way. Quantities and composition are subject to change.

No actually I think this is the latest ASR.
By my very unscientific measurements I think that puts the crane base either in the east Stairwell (which makes sense) or the Residential Lobby South.
