That gives me hope, though I am still very doubtful of messing with that block on Fayetteville.
WTF is up with those man hole covers?
Is it an interactive fountain? As you walk over them they spritz you in the back side?
That just sounds like a public bidet.
Ah, it does. But I assure you my friend, that was not my intent.
Installing the windows on the upper floors and looking like the exterior work is nearing completion.
It’s looking good! I can’t wait to see it finished, and I sure hope that I am able to get to that terrace!
Just gotta have a medical emergency downtown and then wander upstairs…
Everything above the 1st floor is Fast Med offices. I don’t think wandering upstairs will work.
Did anyone else notice the old freight elevator was kept inside? Its a pretty awesome looking, maybe even creepy, piece of equipment.
Yes and apparently the ground floor is divided into two spots, one had that old elevator in it. Just walked by tonight.
(This is the spot without the elevator obviously.)
That’s the elevator right there behind the orange Ridgid box isn’t it?
On second look that may be an elevator. But there was a large freight elevator in the other section of the ground floor. The plot thickens…
Is that brick wall the original older warehouse building exterior wall? Wasn’t the section of the building extending to the sidewalk added in the 40s or 50s? Or am I thinking of a different building?
Is there possibility the FastMed only takes one of the spaces, and the other is left for retail? Or have they confirmed that FastMed is taking the entire ground floor/entire building?
They are definitely taking 100% above the ground floor. Ground level, not totally sure.
Hmm. I only saw that large one on the left side and didn’t bother to look on the right, but now that you mention it, they are different. I remember one always at basement level back when they sold stuff from the basement too, but don’t remember another one. Mystery indeed.
They palated some bricks from demo and I assume used those in the renovation. Yeah the back warehouse was the original part built between 1909 and 1914 and the front, facade portion was in the 20’s.
The other area is the lobby for the offices. The elevator in that section is new.
