And extending to Downtown South as well? Nash Sq
Convention Center/Red Hat Amph.
Dix/Weld
Downtown South: 1.8 mile route would be half of the Anaheim route -roughly half of the cost would be ~$63 million, seems worth it to me. That article said 5 minute end-to-end trip for Anaheim which can’t possibly be right?
I can attest that Asheville and western NC has come back yes there are spots of devastation and still some Blue Ridge Parkway closures all north of Asheville though but this tourist based economy is open for business. Help with their economic recovery. So plan a trip this fall. From Visit Asheville
Denver’s airport > city train. Envious!
Funny story, I had a few extra minutes (like an hour) before my client lunch so I took the train to downtown even tho it would have been faster to take an Uber where I needed to go (not downtown).
Update on the Blue Ridge Parkway open south from Asheville to Cherokee and the national park and now northbound to Mt Mitchell State Park and yes that state park is back open. Still closed north of that.
Oh, I don’t know. All I see are shadows!

One of America’s most underrated skylines, with the BoACC tower and crown being one of my favorite skyscrapers in general. Hearst (now Truist) Tower coming in a quick 2nd place for Charlotte skyscrapers.
It’s a bird it’s a plane it’s a bullet
BofA tower is definitely one my favorite towers in the world. Pelli did a nice job with its presence. I don’t know about it at the sidewalk level, but it sure looks sexy in skyline photos.
Oh the pedestrian level experience there is atrocious but it was built in the 90s in Charlotte when the entire city was strictly meant for banking and BANKING ONLY lmaooo
I bet headlamp sales in CLT are up since those atrocious eye sores were constructed. Maybe even put lights on your shoes so you can see. It’s like night time all day long!
Boston. Looking southwest down the Charles.
i think way back labeled the “Taj Mcoll”
Yes some old timers like me still call it that the Taj McColl but in reality it is the best looking high rise in Charlotte. Still is even though it is 1992 vintage.
