 But I said “no offense” so that means no one can be mad! That’s how that works right?

Only thing Buffalo has on us is a better looking City Hall, and that’d be hard to top no matter how nice or tall we designed ours.

That sounds like a very Buffalonian attitude (jk). Buffalo also has a small subway/light rail system planning expansion. I have to admit I’m surprised by that data. Buffalo’s skyline always looked pretty small. Must be pretty spread out. Of course, if midtown’s high rises were DT…

Yeah, but Buffalo has alot of gems. I would kill for their historic stock.

Thank you, that was exactly what I was picturing in my head when I typed that :joy::joy::joy:

That is actually pretty cool.

Paris is trying to one up them, though.

Better architecture, better accent, better water front, better neighborhoods, better food, better festivals, better music scene, better arts scene, better bars, better weather, better drivers, better subway/metro, better walkability, better parks. I would say the only thing that Raleigh has on Buffalo is a better economy.

Edit: Better fountains

My guy I appreciate the hometown love (I’m from Rochester, mom is from Buff) but let’s keep it a buck here… there is no planet on which BUFFALO is considered to have BETTER WEATHER than ANYWHERE ELSE lmaoooooooooo come on now. They don’t call it “lake effect” for no reason!!!

Guess that depends but I’ll take lake effect over 100 degrees for 5 months straight.

Spoken like a true Buffalonian

Personally, I was a pretty damn angry and depressed kid growing up, but my entire attitude and outlook on life changed drastically when my folks moved me down here and I swapped 5 months of grey skies and exhaust-stained slush for 5+ months of SUNSHINE lol - for that, I’ll accept the heat that comes with it

As a fellow upstate NYer transplant, can confirm weather here is way better and has also made me much happier.

Yeah, it’s hard to find the same charm and energy outside of these dense, mothballed rust belt neighborhoods

Are you comparing Buffalo to Phoenix?

Wasn’t really sure where to post this one so here goes nothing. Discuss! I think it needs more Dollar stores and we definitely need a good dopey roadside attraction. :man_shrugging:

True. I lived in buffalo for a year or so a long time ago. They had a saying “we have 4 seasons, winter, June, July, and August”

But they do have better chicken wings.

Buffalo has a bad rep. But I enjoyed my time there. One of the most underrated cities IMO.

Give Le Dive’s wings a shot soon - the head chef is a Buffalo guy, wings are GOOD.
