Went on the tour today. Just a few pics. @GucciLittlePig already added most
I actually like the design element of the parking deck you see right past the West Condos going north on harrington. I just wish it was taller (I know I knowā¦ doesnāt matterā¦ it wonāt be).
Haha itās wild how DTR doesnāt get anything more substantial in such a prime location, like smoky hollowā¦ than Cary, NC does in the suburbs. This looks amazing in Cary! At least they are getting a movie theater @John http://fentonnc.com/
Even without a movie theater, Iāll take SH over this every day of the week. Notice how prominent cars are in all of the renderings. This development is more like North Hills than anything that you might find downtown.
(psstā¦Iām still holding out for a cinema in phase 3 of SH)
Thereās a one screen cinema in Phase 2ā¦
I hope Cary realizes how much of a potential fire disaster they have on their hands here and put a stop to those infernal string lights.
Yeah, thatās North Hills. Been there done that.
Great BRT stop for the Western line
I thought you were talking about south hills for a second
So is that like 3 Cinebistroās in Cary with this one in Fenton?
Thereās a Cinebowl in West Cary and a CineBistro at Waverly Place by Whole Foods. So this would be the second. Apparently thereās a Wegmans going up there too. This is actually really close to my house, I just never go that way because thereās nothing there. Iām kind of excited to have all this stuff nearby.
Also this is pretty offtopic lol
Okay. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
When both are complete, I bet SmoHo is much much more appealing.
Different strokesā¦ I like the diversity of options in the triangle. Obviously I personally prefer downtown, thatās why Iām here
Looks like Scott Crawford is opening a second location of his āCrawford & Sonā restaurant - first Iām hearing of this!
Where?
Had heard about the āSteakhouseā @ Fenton project but not this oneā¦
Itās listed in the confirmed tenants on the image above
Ah, so itās the āCrawford Brosā model announced previously. Thanksā¦
For me - this is exactly what mid-town east (in Raleigh) should have looked like though. That has ZERO apartments adjacent to a lot of commercial, it kills me. Our Wegmanās location is being touted as āurban infillā but itās obviously car-centric and 99.9% of people will drive there.
I did see some parcels on Industrial behind Wegmans that I think are getting rezoned for apartments, which would be great.
