Smoky Hollow Phases 1, 2, and 3

It was that. I watched it for several days this week. Maybe now they can screen in that ugly silver frame.

Updated shot of The Line where they’re working on the elevator shafts. They look almost topped out at which point I suspect we’ll start seeing the sticks go up.

And I didn’t notice this steel structure in the renderings. Will have to go back. Did RFD approve this?? :fire: :fire_engine: :fire_extinguisher: :man_firefighter:t3:

My reactions also as soon as I saw the steel over the street.

I suppose since that part of Tucker isn’t really an extension of Tucker or a through-way, doesn’t really matter. Let’s string some lights up as well!

Yeah the apartments continue over the entrance to the private Tucker St extension that is being created by this project. I think they did mention string lights actually lol. Or maybe that’s just my wishfully flawed memory.

Ah yes. That’s going to be super cool now that I can visualize it IRL!

Also, if we can get 100 likes on this post, Bonner said they’d put string lights up in The Hollow (not really). :joy:

I agree. It’s the most interesting section of the project in my opinion. I was wondering how it was going to look in person, so really appreciate the pictures

Their website currently has images of string lights, so there is hope.

I like the faux railroad tracks done in brick pavers. I hope that makes the final cut.

Hahaha very funny, now can we get that on the transit plan.

I think there should be some studies.

This was in my friend’s parents’ neighborhood. I sent him the video from Raleigh’s fire.

These parking garages, this is how you make them look good.
