Weaver Street market is a huge addition to DT! It’s essentially a slightly smaller whole foods market, but feels like a complete grocery store.

Wow I was just there today. Making some lamb kebab meat I got there on a whim into something (hopefully) different and tasty as I type. Looking good in there. Only mildly disappointed they didn’t have beer or wine yet

Beer and wine will be there soon enough. From what the staff was telling us the paperwork and so forth from the state was pretty burdensome. They went ahead and opened without it which was great. The place was beautiful and it’s a huge plus 4 downtown. They also said that they will be serving beer and wine by the glass in the mezzanine up on the second floor. That’s going to be a really cool place to hang out.

We didn’t go up there yesterday because we wanted to get back to some events at the Bikefest. But definitely intend to go back and enjoy the space.

Speaking of Union Station and restaurants, does anybody know any plans or rumors for the space that includes the cantilever off the side?
But your dog can’t take a dump in that plaza. Besides, that plaza might be needed to the new location of the Winter ice rink.

I believe they have somebody identified for that space, but don’t know who it is. I asked Kane Resi when they had their event on the patio there last week but very close lipped.

So there is 4 open retail spaces, about 10,000sqft remaining to lease out. That is pretty fast to get that all leased out.

There’s a window sticker in that space that shows it. Looks like an Orange Theory type of joint.
